16 – 18 Students

If your 16 – 18, not currently in education, training or employment then you can access training with NSPP.

Throughout Januray and February 2011, The Northern School of Plastering and Partitioning are holding interviews for students wishing to access construction training.

With full travel reimbursement* and bonuses available for attendance and achievement there has never been a better time to learn a trade and make a new start.

With over 90% of our achieving students going on to further training with us we’re confident our training is relevant to the needs of our students and more importantly gains results.

Alex Keating, 19, from Ashton under Lyne scooped the student of the year award in 2010. Alex, who had no previous experience of construction work, but lots of enthusiasm, was pleased with his award.

“I had a good experience on my level one,” he said, “I was a little nervous at first, thinking “what if I don’t like it? Or I can’t do it?”.

“But we’ve been taught by tutors who have been there and done it, and they’re very easy to learn from. They let you learn at your own pace and provide everything you need to get on.  I’ve made lots of mates – the class is a good group. There’s a real team atmosphere and we all get on really well.”

Alex completed his level one diploma in October of 2010 and has now started a level two course.

“NSPP is the best place to do this course. I had attended another provider but I wanted a qualificationat the end of it.”

With every group being eligible for the award you too could be earning while you learn .

Ring us or email us to arrange to come down and look around our centre, speak to a tutor and see which course is most suitable for you.

*Travel reimbursement up to and including a limit of £5 a day
