NVQ’s in your subject area

A work based qualification, an NVQ  (National Vocational Qualification) can be taken as part of an Apprenticeship, or alternatively as standalone qualifications for those workers whom have prior experience but no relevant qualification.

An NVQ proves that a person can perform specific tasks and is considered the industry standard in construction related industries and is popular with employers because its flexibility allows learners to work and study at the same time.

This qualification offers a great balance of hands on experience and technical industry standard qualifications.

The assessment for an NVQ includes observation, discussion, questioning and practical scenarios where the student demonstrates competency in a number of mandatory and optional units.

These qualifications are based solely on site in your chosen trade area.

You produce an NVQ portfolio based on the work you complete whilst in employment.
