Northern School Of Plastering & Partitioning : Basic Trowel Skimming Course in Manchester, the Northwest & Surrounding areas

This course is designed as an introduction for the trainee with no previous experience in plastering.

Skimming onto plasterboard walls and ceilings, you will also be shown the correct method for skimming over previously plastered surfaces, also making good damage to small areas on both walls and ceilings, resulting in a seamless finish.

An ideal course for people who wish to attempt small plastering jobs around the home.

This course comprises briefly of:

Apply pva glue and angle beads
Correct method of two coat skimming to walls
Over skimming previously plastered walls
Patch work to walls using backing plasterers
Skimming to patches for a seamless finish

You will be supplied with all the necessary tools, materials and overalls to complete this course.

Weekday courses start every Monday and run through until Friday.

Mon - Thu : 9:30am - 4:30pm
Friday : 9:30am - 12:30pm

Weekend Courses

Ideal for people who have family or work commitments through the week. Our weekday courses can be run over consecutive weekends.

Saturday and Sunday 9am until 4pm.
