Plastering courses, bricklaying courses

NSPP have purpose built training centres in order to suit each of the various construction courses we have available.

For Plastering courses, there are a large number of working bays where students can learn practical skills such as dry-lining, trowel plastering, floor screeding, ashlar jointing etc.

The fibrous moulding workshop is fully equipped with all the tools required to complete tasks for the more advanced students.

For the theory work involved in the city and guilds and diploma courses in plastering and bricklaying, we have fully equipped classrooms and computer suites with internet access so students can learn in a safe and encouraging environment.

For Bricklaying courses, we have a second unit with large floor space where students can learn brickwork skills including building walls, archways, columns etc.  All tools and materials are provided and a computer suite is available for theory work  so all assessments can be completed in the same building, with constant guidance from their tutor.

Both our units have rest areas for students and nearby there are a variety of cafes, shops and supermarkets.

If overnight accommodation is required, we can recommend a choice of local B&B’s and hotels which offer value for money and are within walking distance of the college.
